The "Kings of Beef" take reign in bathrooms across the country

“You made it to our bathroom!” That is what one guest said the other night. “Only the finest reading material makes it next to our toilet!” explains another.

For sometime now, we have been receiving comments like this from our guest. The first time someone told me they put their Buckley’s newsletter in the toilet my heart sank. I thought to myself, obviously they do not know I spend weeks putting this newsletter together.

When you are a small business, you have to be better than the competiton. We are constantly trying to add extra value where ever possible. Three years ago we decided to create the “From the Grill” to stay in touch with our best guests. Our first mailing was to five hundred households. Today our newsletter has close to twenty thousand subscriptions.

This newsletter has become a labor of love. From all the photos of our friends to the helpful hints, to the occasional newsletter member discounts. Hopefully there is a little something for everyone. (always open for suggestions!)
By the way, one guest that I will not mention his name, explained that being sentenced to the bathroom is the highest compliment. He said that in his home, “only the finest reading material makes it to the bathroom! I may read your newsletter seven or eight times.”
